When We Pray

Throughout my life I have been blessed by participating in prayer with others. Sometimes with two or three, and at other times, with the whole church family. The heaviness of a problem is lifted with prayer. I have experienced God’s love through prayer.

It is a blessing to be able to lift our concerns to Jesus and to trust him. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. Matthew 18:20

Jesus emphasized the importance of prayer. And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. Luke 18:1

It is a critical time in our nation. We have an election coming up, and as citizens we need to vote. We can pray for guidance.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. James 1:5

  1. Carol, you thought of the same verse. I am so very grateful that as we pray, our Lord is right there in the midst of our prayers. May we remain faithful to pray. Blessings!
