During a recent trip to Galveston, Texas, our family enjoyed time on the beach. The young ones walked into the crashing waves, riding the waves. I was content to listen to the rhythm of the waves while sea gulls and pelicans made designs in the sky, traveling in groups.
We visited Moody Gardens that holds a rainforest in one glass pyramid and an aquarium in another. We saw bright and colorful flowers in the rainforest.

Here and there we saw birds and animals: parrots, colorful birds, monkeys and furry bats!
The aquarium displayed wonders of the sea. We saw otters, penguins, many kinds of fish and a huge display of jelly fish with their intricate motion.
Over the past months I have been reading through the book of Psalms. Today I am reading Psalm 136.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
to him who alone does great wonders,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
to him who by understanding made the heavens,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
to him who spread out the earth above the waters,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
to him who made the great lights,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
the sun to rule over the day,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
the moon and stars to rule over the night,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
Psalm 136:3-9
