Old McDonald had a farm

A Child’s Song

We have a new granddaughter. When we visited our son’s family, we brought gifts for the baby and her big brother. We also gave our grandson a few of the cars and trucks that had once belonged to his father. One truck had the McDonald’s insignia on the side of the truck.

I don’t know if our two-year-old grandson has ever been to McDonalds. He is very familiar with the song Old Mc Donald Had a Farm, and he sang it for us. (He also sang his ABCs.) He played with the truck and said it was Old McDonald’s truck.

It delighted me that he had the idea of a farm. We looked at pictures of chickens that his cousins are raising. It is good for children to know that food comes from farms.

The other night my husband & I listened to Robert Kennedy Jr.’s speech as he explained that he is suspending his campaign. He has a deep concern for the health of children in our country and gave the statistics on chronic illness.

Why are we seeing a great rise in asthma and autoimmune disease? The rate of childhood cancer is gradually going up. Autism has increased exponentially.

He raised the issue of toxins in our environment, in processed foods and in pharmaceutical products. Dr. Robert Malone has provided a video and the text of RFK Jr.’s speech. You can see it here.

After spending time in prayer, RFK jr has made the difficult decision to suspend his campaign and support President Trump. His goal is to work with a Trump administration to enact policies that could improve the health of children. I applaud his decision.

Currently I am participating in an action plan to encourage citizens to pray and vote in the November election. I am pleased with the group, My Faith Votes. This group provides the materials to send out to encourage voters. Click here to visit the site if you are interested.
